Saturday, June 22

10am-12pm Jillina "Evolution"

In this class, Jillina teaches a choreography from the newest show “Wizard of Oz” “ theatrical dance show. BDE is known for its powerful dance style fused bellydance, lyrical styling, and storytelling. You will learn new and innovative formations, floor patterns and as well as ideas for staging.

12:30-2:30 Luna "Body Eclectic"

Luna’s eclectic background in synchronized swimming, street dance, contemporary and belly dance has influenced her approach to using her body in response to music. In this workshop experience Luna’s favorite training techniques, transitions and ways of combining different dance styles in order to create original movement pathways. Pops, locks, shimmies, and waves will all go hand in hand. Challenge yourself, and your dance, to develop combinations for something truly unique and magical.

10am-12pm Jillina “Drum-a-licious“

Powerful & Percussive! This drum solo will explore intricate hip technique, various types of shimmies as well as challenge you on isolation technique. Learn how to control your body and translate the music through your moves.

12:30-2:30 Jill Collins "Dancing Between and Beyond theLines"

Join Jill Collins, featured dancer and rehearsal director for Bellydance Evolution in the studio for a hybrid class to enhance your bellydance performance with ballet and modern cross training.
