VI Argentine and Latin American Meeting of Arabian Dances‚ Review This meeting, considered a world record for audience, took place with the usual fervor and enthusiasm that characterizes it. More than 700 students danced to the beat that the great teachers Jillina (USA), Hadia (Canada), Hayat el Helwa (Brazil), Sarat and Amir Thaleb (Argentina) set in each one of their master classes, in which all the love and solid knowledge that the teachers have were appreciated. In her first visit to Argentina, Jillina expressed that “It was a great pleasure for me to teach such a big group of high-level students -something you don’t see very often around the world. I was really surprised. I could also see many young girls dedicated to this dance, which is essential to be able to assimilate the technical work in order to reach the highest possible level in this art form. For all these reasons, I think that Latin America will become the leader in Arabian Dances in the next few years. I think it is extremely important that such a big country like Argentina is in the hands of this truly teacher of Arabian Dances, AMIR THALEB”.
